Clint

Clint has been immersed in the automotive world since 2012, but his passion for cars started much earlier. Growing up around his dad’s body shop and helping build demolition derby cars, he was hands-on with horsepower from a young age. His love for cars—especially European models—has only grown over the years. Clint has tried on just about every hat in the industry: delivering parts, managing an auto parts store, wrenching on custom mods, and even tackling full engine and transmission swaps and rebuilds. His biggest fear? Owning a stock vehicle. Today, as a service advisor, Clint blends deep technical know-how with a people-first approach. Whether he’s tracking down a rare part or making sure customers feel informed and cared for, he takes pride in getting the job done right—and doing it with a smile. Known for being approachable, a little goofy, and always good for a laugh, Clint brings a fun, friendly energy to the shop. When he's not working, he’s likely out camping, hiking, hitting the road to explore new places, tearing up an off-road trail, taking part in some form of motorsports, or checking out a car show with friends and family.

Clay

Clay has built a solid foundation in the automotive industry over the past five years. His journey began as a tire technician, before advancing to roles as a lube tech and eventually a service writer — a position he currently holds at Import Auto. Clay takes great pride in delivering top-notch service, ensuring every customer receives the highest quality care for both themselves and their vehicles.

A native of Cache Valley, Clay was raised on a family-owned cattle ranch, where he continues to work to this day. His deep-rooted connection to the land has instilled in him a love for the outdoors. Whether he’s ranching, hunting, or casting a line while fishing, Clay thrives in nature.

Outside of work, his heart belongs to his family. He is a devoted husband and the proud father of three daughters, with whom he cherishes spending every moment of his free time.

Jake

Jake has been in the automotive industry for over 15 years now.  He started as a parts delivery driver and worked his way to a wholesale manager before starting at Import Auto.  He loves being able to work with customers daily by helping them keep their vehicles safe and reliable.  In his free time he enjoys growing a beautiful beard and spending time with his Wife and their two dogs (Kibbles a Husky and Clover a Pittie) and playing possibly too many video games.  He has recently decided to get into woodworking as a hobby because he was jealous that the Technicians he works with were able to spend so much money on tools and wanted to be part of the fun.   So far he has made an uneven shelf and is far too proud of it.

Jesse

Jesse grew up with a passion for tinkering with things, always taking apart his skateboards and broken toys. He began his automotive journey in his high school shop class working on his beat up 74 Dodge B100. Jesse is from California where he specialized in suspension and lift kits. When he is not on the clock Jesse enjoys working on his 96 F350 that will eventually be environmentally friendly. Jesse also enjoys fishing and spending time with his family at home one of his favorite pastimes is taking a long walks on the beach with Jeff (Self Appointed Head of HR) , where they  solve the world’s problems and ponder about the man who turns the light off in the refrigerator when the door closes.

Gavin

Say hello to Gavin! One of the friendly faces (and skilled hands) keeping your car running right.

His story with cars started when he got his ’92 Dodge Dakota. It needed a little love, and instead of handing it off to someone else, he decided to learn how to bring it back to life himself. That project kicked off a passion that’s carried him through the last few years.

He’s been turning wrenches since junior year of high school, apprenticing on and off for about 3 years. The Dakota is still by his side, last year he gave it a brand-new engine, and now he’s in the middle of a transmission swap.

When he’s not in the shop, you might find him rock climbing, bull riding, or out fishing for trout and catfish. For him, working on cars isn’t just a job, it’s something he truly enjoys, and he’s always looking for ways to keep learning and honing his craft.

Jeremiah (Juice)

Say hi to Jeremiah, better known around the shop as Juice, one of our awesome apprentices!

Jeremiah’s love for cars started early. He grew up wrenching alongside his dad and learning on motorcycles before moving into cars. You could say it’s in his blood.

He’s been seriously turning tools for about a year now, learning through school and hands-on experience right here in the shop. And when we say he’s passionate, we mean it. His current project is a 1978 Dodge D50 that once belonged to his grandpa.

As a kid, Juice and his siblings used to play in that old truck out in the field. It didn’t even run back then, but that didn’t stop them from using it as their playground and adventure rig. Now, he’s bringing it back to life for real, starting from the ground up. The engine’s out, the transmission’s out, and he’s planning to rebuild and weld the frame this winter.

When he’s not under the hood, Juice is teaching himself guitar and piano. He’s got a creative side that shows in everything he does, whether it’s fine-tuning an engine or learning a new song. That mix of artistry and focus is what makes him such a strong up-and-comer in the trade.

Grizz

Grizz is everyone’s favorite person at Import Auto and he knows it. He is pretty sure anyone who walks through our doors is here to see him, pet him, and feed him and if they are unaware of this fact he will happily, albeit unsubtlety, remind them. When he isn’t at the shop motivating everyone by yelling at them when they are pushing cars, or finding the perfect place to lay to get as dirty as possible he is at the Morgan home with his family.
